Turtle Island (GCRW68) is the name of the cache that was originally hidden near here on January 3, 2006. After it was recently archived, I thought it would be nice to hide another cache here in memory of that original cache. When I found Turtle Island on August 13, 2007, it was one of the first ten finds in the state of Michigan for me and in the first twenty-five finds overall for me. Wow! That seems like a long time ago. This cache is hidden about 100 feet from the location of the original cache.
The cache is located in Deerfield Township Nature Area. The park hours are from dawn until dusk. Please be aware that bow hunting is allowed in the nature park from October 1 to November 14 and December 1 to January 1. Parking is available at:

The cache is a regular size camouflaged lock & lock container. There is plenty of room for trackables and swag. Please trade evenly if possible. As always, be aware of the possibility of muggles. Please replace the cache as you found it. In order to claim this cache as found, you must physically find the cache and sign the log sheet.
