Hardly Shakespeare but back in the 70's and early 80's this was sheer poetry (geokids, ask Mum and Dad for a translation)



Geocaching names, weird and whacky?, nothing new really, we were once a Rubber Duck, Plastic Chicken, Peachy, Murco, Dolphin, Misty Blue, a Doubledecker or a Gadget Gal

Twenty : Assemble at the Dome, Barr Beacon

Bring your XYL, bring your ankle snappers, bring your rig, bring your twig.
Plenty of Geochat, putting faces to names, help yourself to containers box, trackables swap box and for the minicachers (and parents if they wish to assist) a treasure hunt of their own to find on the day with prizes. If the weather is good, stay a while, enjoy the views, bring some games, bring a picnic and have an alfresco lunch


Plenty of parking or for Public Transport users, 75, 76 (Walsall - Kingstanding/Oscott), 997 (Birmingham - Walsall), both will drop you at the base of Barr Beacon where it's a short walk, 451 (West Bromwich - Sutton Coldfield), 33, 934 will take you very close and you can either walk or catch one of the buses which will bring you closer

PLEASE no lighted fires, no BBQ's, use the waste bins provided and be aware that there are rabbits here and therefore so will their warrens, watch where you put your feet
