SandysRangers: This cache was a fat, 8 " long pine cone that I picked up in a N Carolina park years ago.
I drilled out the center, dropped in a bison tube and hung it in a pine tree.
In time, the pine cone started deteriorating and was last found on the ground. When I stopped to check it today I couldn't find it anywhere in the area so I am archiving it.
If someone finds it please pull the bison tube out and re hide it as your own cache... let the game continue.
