Geocache Description:

Yentl is an uncommon first name for women. Yentl is a Hebrew name with the meaning of the name is Nobleperson. The CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. Figure out the puzzle below to get the correct coordinates. Parking nearby. This little treasure is free from slithering serpents, hazardous oak, and the sorts.

This is Pink Luver and my new series of caches based on films and movies of the past with interesting names of title characters. Today’s cache focuses on the interesting name Yentl is from the play and movie with the same name. So, sit back, enjoy the movie and enjoy the research on this animated little gem.

A) Isaac Bashevis Singer born on November 21, 1(A)02 was a Polish-born Jewish American author noted for his short stories which included Yentl the Yeshiva Boy.

B) No Matter What Happens is song number (B) on the Yentl Soundtrack (as confirmed via wiki).

C) Yentl was nominated for (C) Golden Globes winning two of them for Best Picture and Best Director.

D) As early as 19(D)8, Barbra Streisand had expressed interest in a film adaption of Singer's short story Yentl the Yeshiva Boy.

E) After eleven previews, the Broadway production, directed by Robert Kalfin, opened on October (E)3, 1975 at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, where it ran for 223 performances. The cast included Tovah Feldshuh, John Shea, and Lynn Ann Leveridge.

F) Yentl won an Academy Award in 19(F)4 for Best Original Score and Its Adaptation or Best Adaptation Score, the award going to Michel Legrand (music), Alan Bergman (lyrics), and Marilyn Bergman (lyrics)
