Geocache Description:

Cache is at the top end of a disused quarry approx. 300m from the road running across part of Caldbeck Common. Parking is available at the end of the quarry track by the iron gate at N 54° 45.162 W 003° 06.727 Please keep dogs on a lead or under close control as sheep frequently graze in this area.
The views from the site are very good, the Lakeland fells to the south,Cross Fell and the Pennines to the East and The Solway to the north. Best visited on a clear sunny day.

The cache is a 35mm film canister containing a log book and pencil. Not really any room fro swops etc. May be room for small geocoins.
