This is your chance to visit an excellent example of a naturalized area on school grounds.
**Due to recent muggle activity, the cache has been moved again and is an even smaller container. Hopefully this will thwart any potential muggles.** This cache is dedicated to all the student EcoTeams that are working hard to improve the environmental practices in Toronto schools. By developing waste minimization, energy conservation and school greening projects, these students are helping to ensure that their schools are becoming more sustainable. This cache is hidden in an EcoSchools Nature Study Area that is one of the most ecologically diverse in Toronto. When you visit this area, please stay on the paths to help minimize any impact on the native plants that the students are trying to encourage and be respectful of the residents who live in the area north of the study area. The ORIGINAL cache was a small lock ‘n lock container. The cache’s initial contents follow its environmental theme and include a log book made of 100% recycled paper, a biodegradable pen, a tree growing kit, a key chain made from a recycled bike chain as well as some wildlife themed trinkets. To encourage the use of sustainable transportation methods, there are two TTC tokens for the first-to-find. However, the cache is NOW a micro, with only a log sheet. Please bring your own pen.
