Not to far from
this cabin you can find many core samples that were drilled out of
the rock that may contain GOLD. These were probably the cores that
encouraged the miners to blast a mine into to mountain about 800 M
down the road. (Blue Hawk Mine) Very cool to explore. This cache
was placed to encourage more cachers to come up and explore a
little bit of Okanagan mining history. Best place to park is at
this cabin ( N 49 58.900 W 119 31.692). When this cache was placed,
we were accompanied by FreakerG, Travois&Cyndy, and our friend
Perry.
