An easy cache in Balfour on Shapinsay. Stealth may be required as Balfour village can be busy at ferry times particularly near the phone box and ferry waiting room!
The pier at Balfour in Elwick is where the ferry from Kirkwall to Shapinsay berths.
It is a delightful village near to Balfour Castle, which is well worth a visit.
Please see the attached webpage for further information on the island of Shapinsay and its attractions, which are numerous with some fine walks across the island.
The cache is a 35mm film canister with log and pencil.
