Geocache Description:

Cache near Spewey's first home

Our 18-year-old loyal companion Spewey, an orange marmalade cat, passed away in 2010. In his memory we're placing several caches near areas related to his life in Massachusetts and Honolulu. Good luck finding and logging them all! This first cache is very near where he grew up--on Burton Street in Arlington Heights. We didn't want the current residents of his old house to be alarmed to see strangers poking around the house. So we placed the cache nearby--across Mass Ave. Coordinates should be right on. Cache is a clear plastic Tupperware-style lock box with small trade items and a logsheet.
