Geocache Description:

Labor Day is hidden off from the Dublin Trail going to Mount Monadnock. Access to the cache is via Old Troy Road and you may park at the Dublin Trail parking area. Bushwacking is required (minimal bushes) for about 250'. GPS NOTICE - Forested area, GPS reception is not good, coordinates get you in the general area and you will need to use your geo skills for the find.

The cache is a small lock-n-lock container with a log book and a few trinketes to trade. The cache is another in the Holiday series. Here is a few facts about Labor Day.

Labor Day is a Federal holiday on the first Monday in September. It was a day to recognize the social and economic achievements of America's workers. The first Labor Day was celebrated on September 5, 1882 in New York City.

The tradition of Labor Day marks the 'un-official' end of summer where as Memorial Day is the 'un-official' start of the summer. Many towns and communities host Labor Day celebrations and parades.
