Groucho Marx
Of the three most famous Marx Brothers (Groucho, Chico and Harpo), Groucho was the youngest. He was born October 2, 1890 and died August 19, 1977.
The Marx Brothers appeared together in 13 feature films and Groucho also had a successful solo career. Some of you may remember his TV show “You Bet Your Life”.
Some of his unforgettable lines include “I never forget a face, but in your case I’ll be glad to make an exception” and “Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read”.
I just love watching Marx Brothers movies. They always had just the right combination of snide comments, slapstick and silliness for me. When my wife and I were dating, a number of the theatres in our neighborhood were running Marx Brothers festivals and we went from theatre to theatre. Basically, we spent the entire day laughing!
Whether you like their humor or not, I hope you enjoy this series of caches. The first three are straightforward. To log the final cache, The Marx Brothers (GC 2EQ0D), you will need to gather the correct coordinate components from each of the three main caches (including this one).
Look on the inside front cover of the log book and complete the coordinates for the final.
Have a great time!
