Chico Marx
Chico is the brother with the Italian accent who played the piano. He was a very talented piano player, but he was not Italian! He was born in New York and died at the age of 77 in 1961.
Some of his movie lines are priceless – For example “I wasn’t kissing her, I was whispering in her mouth” and “I’d give you my seat, but I’m sitting in it”
I just love watching Marx Brothers movies. They always had just the right combination of snide comments, slapstick and silliness for me. When my wife and I were dating, a number of the theatres in our neighborhood were running Marx Brothers festivals and we went from theatre to theatre. Basically, we spent the entire day laughing!
Whether you like their humor or not, I hope you enjoy this series of caches. The first three are straightforward.
