Geocache Description:

Grundy Canyon series is located on Rusk County land. This series encompasses a canyon, felsenmeer, and waterfall. Grundy Canyon is a very unique area with much to offer but does require a long walk and some very rough terrain. Bring food and extra water. Please take pictures and enjoy this unique area.

There are nice open hardwoods after an old fallow field. There is a logging road to get here from the end of Slack Road however if you are planning on finding more caches and enjoy a scenic bushwacking route, it is best to start from the parking waypoint. Up till this point the terrain has been fairly nice. After this cache lies Grundy Canyon. There is definitely a terrain change in your future.

At this point you need to decide which end of the canyon to enter. Go west and look for micro at Grundy Canyon, Round Peg Square Hole or head northwest entering the north end at Grundy Canyon, Atop. Otherwise, you may want to save this cache for your way out.

This is a small container with goodies and change.
