Geocache Description:

Cache IS at the posted coords, but you must read the cache page for the requirements to log this cache!

To qualify for this challenge, you must have logged at least one cache find on each calendar day (365 different dates) regardless of what YEAR it was when you made the finds. You do not need to find caches for 365 days in a row (although that would do the trick as well). In order to make this difficult challenge more achievable, you do not need to have a find on February 29th (since it only comes around once every four years). However, you should give yourself extra kudos in your online log if you are finding this Challenge Cache with finds on all 366 dates!
Note: This Challenge is tough enough… you may use any type of cache from anywhere in the world to help qualify you for this Challenge.

There are two basic ways to provide verification of your qualification for this Challenge Cache: a list of the 365 (or 366) dates and a GC number of a cache that you found on each of those dates; or create a table from a geocaching statistics generating application that shows your finds by found date. You can post a screen-capture of the resulting table as an image to your online log, or simply copy the HTML to your profile page for all to see.

Some current applications that I know of that will help you keep track of your progress toward this Challenge Cache and produce the required table include:

• MyGeocachingProfile is an easy-to-use application that uses your “my finds” pocket query to generate an impressive number of statistics, including a “Finds Each Day of the Year” table that will help you keep track of your progress and can be used to validate that you have met the requirements of this Challenge.

• CacheStats is an application that requires you to download it onto your computer; then uses your “my finds” pocket query to generate an impressive number of statistics, including a “Finds by Day of Year (All Years Combined)” table that will help you keep track of your progress and can be used to validate that you have met this Challenge.

• The FindStatsGen macro for Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK) is capable of producing a very extensive set of statistics including a table of Finds by Found Date. You must first download GSAK to your computer, and then install the most recent version of the FindStatsGen macro in order to be able to generate your statistics. Although the process of getting it all set up to actually run your stats can be lengthy, there is very good documentation available from GSAK to help you get started.

Another GSAK macro called HTML_FoundDate can be used to display your Finds by Found Date table all by itself. You are encouraged (but not required) to post a screen grab of the output in the Photo Gallery of this cache page when you log this Challenge Cache.

Here is an example of our progress towards completing this challenge using the HTML_FoundDate macro (as of September 3, 2010):

As you can see, as of the publishing of this cache, we have 2 days left to find caches on to meet this Challenge… 27 & 28 September. After that, we will have to wait until the next leap-year (2012) to find a cache on February 29th in order to completely fill in the table.

The actual D/T of this hide is about a 2/1.5, but the listed D/T rating reflects the D/T required to qualify for the challenge.

Good luck and have fun!
