Geocache Description:

This is the 4th cache in the OC Challenge. CLICK HERE to find out more about the challenge.

This is an impromptu addition to the OC challenge and IS part of the challenge. Thought an ammo can would be a nice break from a frustrating puzzle cache. I realize that nebula5 hasn't quite hit the mark yet but they are almost there and since I didn't know if anyone else planned on placing a golden ammo for them and I didn't want to interfere with that AND waiting for nebula5 to get from 997 to 1000 is akin to watching paint dry, here it is!

PLEASE NOTE: There are Private Property/No Trespassing signs near the cache area. I confirmed with the town of Webster that these signs are no longer applicable as the land just south of the Webster Park is now town property as part of their open space initiative purchased from the Midnight family. IGNORE THE SIGNS. Access to the cache is through Webster Park.

The OC thought it would be nice to take a moment to honor an area caching family as they reach their milestone of 1000 cache finds. Very well earned from this very talented group of N's (all the way down to the littlest ones)! No worries...being nebula5 confers no advantage for you on this cache and they have not gotten any heads up in any way about the placement of this.

The cache is placed just around the boundary of Webster Park and the former Midnight family property. It is appropriate that a nebula5 golden ammo can gets placed near "Midnight" property, especially in light of their heroics on WTH #7 - Benches, Benches, Benches, and after that and after their 6th place finish on the WTH challenge, they have proven themselves to be Rochester area challenge cachers to be contended with, especially given the field of such talented cachers who participated in that challenge!

There will be an additional 10 bonus points for the first 5 cachers to "contact" me with exact words of nebula5's first cache log. They are definitely as excited now about caching as they were then!

Remember each OC cache will give you the opportunity to learn about the location of the final bonus cache. It will be hidden somewhere in a non-obvious but findable way. Please note that I have changed the scoring for this challenge slightly to reward people for finding more than one of the "clues" that will lead you to the final cache. See bonus cache page for details.

The cache is a .30 cal ammo can, appropriately decorated. Coordinates were averaged as there was a pretty good bounce in the area. Once you've found it, add your name to the log book and when you write your online log/note for the find please include the number with your log entry. Please only one cacher per line in the log book. There is a "lammy" for the FTF. In addition, the nebulas can take whatever swag they want from the cache if interested.

Kudos to the nebula5, now go beat them to the cache!

Congrats to Team GeoGriffin for the FTF.
Congrats to pinkpanthers1995, Peppermill 6-Pack, nebula5, Team GeoGriffin, and sagefemme for being the first 5 to answer the bonus question correctly. The nebula5's first cache log reads "We found it! Our very first cache ever!" Look how far they have come!!
