As you move through the series, the puzzles get more difficult, at least in theory, although that may vary based on experience and aptitude with certain puzzle types. Also, the terrain in which they are hidden tends to increase in difficulty.
SET! Is a popular card game of visual perception. A 'Set' is 3 cards in which each individual feature is either all the SAME on each card... OR all DIFFERENT on each card. That is to say, any feature in the 'Set' of three cards is either common to all three cards or is different on each card.
The Features are:
- Symbols: Each card has ovals, squiggles, or diamonds on it;
- Color: The symbols are red, green, or blue;
- Number: Each card has one, two, or three symbols on it;
- Shading: The symbols are solid, striped or open.
The object is to find 6 'Sets' in 12 cards. You may reuse any card to complete all 6 different 'Sets'.
Determine the values based on the cards used in the six correct 'Sets' (re-used cards are to be counted based on the total number of times they are used in the six 'Sets').

A = The number of cards with solid green symbols
B = The number of cards with solid or open blue symbols
C = The number of cards with three red diamonds minus the number of cards with three open blue squiggles
D = The number of cards with open blue symbols plus the number of cards with red oval symbols
E = The number of cards with three red or blue symbols minus the number of cards with solid red ovals
F = The number of cards with red or blue striped symbols
G = The number of cards with three green symbols plus the number of cards with striped green symbols
H = The number of cards with two blue symbols plus the number of cards with two solid green ovals
When you find this cache, make sure that you record the two clues that are attached to the log at each cache. Without all of these clues, you will not be able to solve the final bonus puzzle.
