Blanton Cemetery - remember that - it will be hard to find if you don't!
This is an out of the way location, but it has a very recent addition to its residents; a man who I interacted with a lot growing up. He owned a pond near our house, and we often called or went to see him to get permission to fish or camp at his pond. He never said no. He was a business man, community activitist and all-around good guy. As of this cache placement, his headstone hasn't been placed. However, his granddaughter rests nearby, and her headstone is as precious as one can be. She died of SIDS a few years back at the tender age of two. The cache is named in her honor. She was also the daughter of a friend I knew growing up and attended high school with. Say hello while you're there. Also, you'll find the resting places of a WWII veteran and a CSA soldier.
Oh yeah - be careful if we've had wet weather. You might want to wait for a dry spell as the "road" is closer to a "path". Use at your own risk! If you're gonna attempt and it might be messy, send me a message and I'll give you my phone number in case you need assistance.
