Geocache Description:

Green plastic jar, 2.5 in diameter by 3.5 in tall, with room for small trade items. BYOP. Original contents include log, hadrosaur, ant, clownfish, glass turtle, and a bimetal Jordanian coin.

Not wheelchair accessible.

Coyote bush is a native species that will invade grasslands and provide an anchor for a chaparral community, particularly in the absence of fire or grazing. When trees begin to grow, the shade will gradually eliminate the coyote bush.

Its namesake is a popular figure in folklore, where he is sometimes known as the Trickster. Despite a vigorous campaign devoted to its eradication, the coyote has actually increased its range to where it is now found in all 48 of the lower states.

The cache is located next to a hiking/biking path that I never knew existed until I found this spot. The trick here is finding a place to park, because there is NO PARKING next to the cache or on the freeway or offramp or overpass, plus a high fence if you try anyway. There are a number of nearby parking opportunities to approach the cache from different directions.

Watch for muggles. You are fairly isolated, but not invisible; they can appear quickly.
