Geocache Description:

This settlement was built at the end of the 18th century at the conjunction of the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation and the River Blackwater. This picturesque village provides the base for walks along the seawall. (http://www.maldon.gov.uk/Welcome+To+Maldon/Places+to+Visit/HeybridgeBasin.htm)

The cache is just a short walk along the sea wall from the Basin.
