Geocache Description:

A public service announcement cache.

This is a nice, flat, wide stretch of road folks get going too fast on. Which is a shame, if you get rolling TOO fast, it's a ticket for you.

At the posted coordinates are a speed limit sign. That is the first waypoint. To find the cache, find the number on that sign, then do a little math w/ the posted coordinates to find the cache at - ulp - a cop trap!

That means this cache may be guarded by the muggle law enforcement at any time. So stealth is really required. The good news is it'll be a P&G if they aren't there when you go for the cache.

To get the final coordinates, start with the number on that sign. Now add 10, and we'll call that 'X'...that's probably about as fast as you can go on this street, but then you're pushing it. Why not let someone else get the ticket?

Now, multiple X by 3, then subtract 17. Now add that three digit number to the last three digits of the latitude. That is the final cache latitude.

Starting w/ X again, multiple X by 10, then subtract 13. Now subtract that three digit number from the last three digits of the longitude. That is the final cache longitude.

Don't mess with the mailbox. Especially if there IS a police car there! But also because the cache isn't on the mailbox.

Easy find, the trick here is whether or not the cache is 'guarded' when you show up. ;)

Please replace exactly as found, I've placed it for the least visibility from all angles. (FTF pin taped to bottom of the cache.) Please bring your own pen, log only.

Oh, and just for fun...ever found a benchmark? If you were to walk from the posted coords to the final, you'd walk right across benchmark AB9460. (Click on link below for nearest benchmarks.)
