Construite durant les années 1919-1920 la gare de Kedgwick a joué un rôle important dans le développement de la municipalité.
Build in 1919-1920 the Kedgwick old train station played an important role in the developpement of the region.
Après l'abandon par le CNR, de plusieurs de ses tronçons ferroviaires au Nouveau-Brunswick, la plupart des gares ont été vouées à la démolition. L'ancienne gare de Kedgwick, avec le soutien de la communauté, a su conserver son intégrité. Aujourd'hui l'ancienne gare est la propriété d'une coopérative à but non lucratif: La COOP O Naturel, un magasin d'alimentation naturel et boutique cadeau de produit importés.
After that CNR decided to let go some of his railroad tracks in New Brunswick, most of the train stations were doomed to be destroyed. The Kedgwick old train station with the help of the community was able to stay intact and was not demolish. Today the old train station is owned by a non profit coop: La COOP O Naturel, a health food store and imported gift shop.
