Have yours with tomato ketchup or brown sauce (although no doubt the Ayrshire folk will demand something more exotic - mango chutney perhaps, or tapenade? Place your bets now as to what they usually have on their bacon rolls over in the west!)
And obviously the bacon rolls are a wee something to sustain you for an autumnal walk around some new caches afterwards!
