You never know what you will find when you miss a road for a cache .
We missed a road for a cache and hubby kept driving and we ended up on this road and said "let's see where this goes"
Hey a new cache location.
This is in at an old abandoned airstrip.
Irvine Lake Air Strip AKA Nirvana. There is a forest access road that will take you right to it.
Can be accessed in the winter by snowmoblie as it is on a snowmobile trail. During the other seasons just be careful of ATV's and possibly hunters as there are a few hunting camps along the road too.

This area is rated as a Bortle 2, Magnitude 7.1 stars are visible to the naked eye on clear nights. There are no facilities at Nirvana so you must go prepared for rustic camping if you are planning on staying. There are no toilets, water or garbage .
When we discovered this place we didn't realize that it was used for stargazing so we will have to go back at some point . Quite an interesting area. enjoy
