This cache is one in a series of 12 caches in the Cache to Eagle Project for the Big Pines District Boy Scouts. Keep track of the scout law word, code word, and mystery coordinates associated with each cache. These will be needed to access the Big Pines Treasure Cache. If you are one of the first 5 cachers to log all 12 caches in this series, you will be mailed a scout to eagle patch. This cache is in honor of the eagle scout projects that have benefited the Applegate area and other hiking trails.
This cache is on the Collins Mountain trail just past the big foot trap. There is an X on the path. The left fork goes up to the trap, the right leg goes up Collins mountain. Be sure to use bug spray when hiking this trail. Also long sleeves and pants are recommended due to the over abundance of poison oak in the area.
