Small cache container located in a public park in Bayside Park, Ortley Beach. There is an attached orange string. which is very important to prevent cache loss. Only log and pencil are included, although there is room for small TBs. For larger TBs, use the nearby TB hotel.
The playground and entire park was destroyed by superstorm Sandy but has now been beautifully restored. Tennis courts, basketball courts and playground are all open. Public bathrooms open in daytime hours. Enjoy the view at this location. The cache is in the public area that is clearly the park. Please do not go onto adjoining private property. Be smart and read the clue, there is no need to move any big rocks. Also, please do not disturb or feed the geese, especially if young ones are present. It is illegal to do so and the police are often sitting nearby.
