First things first, please be aware that the cache IS at the posted coordinates, BUT, you must read and follow all of the requirements to log this cache!
Failure to follow the listed rules WILL result in your log being deleted.
A simple hike along the Monongahela River on the "Mon River Trail South".
This is only one of the trails maintained by Mon River Trails Conservancy. It is a rail-to-trail leading south to Pricketts Fort and eventually Fairmont, WV.
PLEASE READ!
The parking coordinates are given below. There IS a road to the left as you approach the parking coordinates.
BUT!!!
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD. This road is a private road and might be gated at any time.
So, just how absolutely, completely, totally, majorly obsessed with our favorite little hobby are you!?
1. Does the sound of new email give you sweaty palms thinking that you might have a chance at an FTF?
2. Do you plan vacations around cache density?
3. Given a free day, devoid of anything even remotely resembling work, do you immediately think of where your nearest unfound caches lie?
4 Do you count the days until the next time you will be able to go caching?
Then this challenge is most definitely for you!!!
To claim a smiley for this challenge you need only complete one simple task.
(Simple being a relative term.)
FIND AT LEAST ONE CACHE ON EVERY SINGLE CALENDAR DAY OF THE YEAR!!!
January 1st through December 31st !!!
365 days/caches!!! (NOT including Feb 29th on leap years!)
Any year at all!!!
The rules:
1. Only the month and day count. You are trying to fill every calendar day. The year does not matter.
2. All previous cache finds count - you do NOT start your count from the beginning.
3. All types of caches qualify.
4. Your finds can be in any state or country.
5. These must be caches listed on Geocaching.com that you have personally (physically) found and logged. (General rules, guidelines and conditions, as stated by Geocaching.com, for logging a cache find apply.)
6. No logging finds on caches you own will be allowed. NOTE: The exception to this is if you found a cache, and then at a later time adopted it, then that cache will count.
7. Finds without the proper verification/documentation WILL be deleted.
Remember; please follow these rules to maintain a level playing field for everyone.
How do you track your caches? That is simplicity itself. Just make sure that you have your statistics open to the public on your geocaching.com profile! That’s it!
The final cache location is actually a difficulty/terrain rating of 1.5/2.5. The 5 for the difficulty rating is based on the difficulty of qualifying to log this cache.
Please post notes with any updates/links/photos or general progress at will!
And don't forget to put a WATCH on this listing to keep track of everyone's progress!
