Byporten Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cervisvenator: Hi

While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Thanks for your understanding,
Cervis Venator

Geocache Description:

Dette er en nanocache, ta med eget skriveredskap. Veldig stor trafikk av mugglere til fots eller på sykkel, særlig rett før og rett etter arbeidstid. Det er mulig å stikke seg litt bort der cachen ligger.

This is a nano cache, bring your own penn. A lot of mugglers will be present, esp. immediately before and after work. It is possible to hide a little where the cache is.

Byporten er det populære navnet på gangbroen over Holtermanns veg. Broen, oppført i 1957, har to tårnaktige trappehus opp til gangbanen og har et portlignende utseende. På sørsiden er broen smykket med Trondheims byvåpen.

Byporten ("The city gate") is the popular name of the pedestrian bridge over Holtermanns veg. The bridge, built in 1957, has two tower-like stairwells and resembles a gate. On the south side the bridge is decorated with the coat of arms of Trondheim.
