This pioneer cemetery is a Historical Site, one that has always intrigued me...but then, they all do. It sits very close to the road at the end of a laneway.
It is so close, even Grandma and Grandpa, joining you on a day of geocaching and staying in the car will enjoy this one.
Parking is a matter of choice. Top choice is to park across the road on Concession 14 as it will be the safest place for you and your vehicle. Pulling over on Wellington 11 may be dangerous as the site is in a valley and cars coming over the hill may not see you in time as you pull out. If you are not planning to stay too long, pull into the lane and park just off to the side of the laneway.
After paying your respects to our pioneers, you'll find the cache easily in a green pencil case.....just think like a geocacher! Inside are small trade items.
