This is a 4 stage multi cache. The first 3 are located by things that are looking up, but the cache is on the ground so you will need to look down for it. There is also a chance to pretend that you are a Boy Scout at stage 3, with an old fashion compass course.
Starting near Aloha High School, they will lead you on a drive crossing the city limits of Beaverton and Aloha several times. It could be biked or even walked if you would like, it is over 3 miles total distance. Please be careful when crossing the Max tracks in the process.
You are looking for a set of 2 x 4-digit numbers on small brass tags. The numbers are the last digits of the coordinates for the next stage. The 45 3 and the 122 5 are implied. Be sure to get the correct numbers, as the 9 and 0 look similar. There is no need to open, or move anything, for the first 3, they are in plain sight, when you are at the correct site.
Stage 3 is a virtual cache location and is the starting location for your opportunity to do a Boy Scout compass course. Once you find the thing that is looking up at the stage 3 coordinates, you will need to navigate through the industrial park with the following 5 directions and distances. The headings and distances were done twice and averaged, but may still be a bit off. You will be close enough that the hints should bring you to the correct spots. Once at the 3E location look for another brass tag.
3 to 3A heading 162 degrees for 570 feet.
3A to 3B heading 95 degrees for 400 feet.
3B to 3C heading 147 degrees for 460 feet.
3C to 3D heading 235 degrees for 520 feet.
3D to 3E heading 298 degrees for 420 feet.
The only bushwhacking is a few plants with points for the final cache. If you are approaching the final cache from the West, you will pass some automotive trash, it was a bit too much to practice CITO, and so you might want to watch your step.
This cache started with some toy animals from Africa, and a non-activated penguin travel bug for the first to find.
3. Looking Up for TV. This was a big satellite dish, but it has been removed. There is now only a grass area left in the location. You will know that you are in the right area by the manhole cover and a tree on the east side, and a row of cedars next to the sidewalk on the west.
3C. Looking up at where there used to be a basketball basket, now it is just part of the parking lot. But if you look up, about 100 feet beyond the turn point, in the same direction, you will see a US flag on a pole.
