Saisoncache (Mai-Oktober) / Seasonal cache (May-October)
Ein paar Worte vorweg... Dieser Cache ist nichts für Leute, welche - glauben, die Beschreibung nicht lesen bzw. verstehen zu müssen, - der Meinung sind, ein T5 müsste leicht zu holen sein, - mit Eigenverantwortung wenig anfangen können. Für diesen Cache wird gute Trittsicherheit vorausgesetzt. Er befindet sich in der Nähe der Staumauer des Kaningbaches in der Granatschlucht in Radenthein. Achtung, nach längerem Regen ist der Weg sehr glitschig und anspruchsvoll! Für Kinder ist der Weg erst ab 11-12 zu empfehlen, das Seil ist nicht immer durchgängig. Der Zutritt erfolgt über das Freigelände des Granatiums. Der Eintritt ist frei, die Schlucht ist aber nur zu den Öffnungszeiten (Mai-Oktober, 10-18Uhr und nach Vereinbarung) meistens nur über den Shop des Granatiums betretbar. Der ca. 900m lange Weg führt teilweise über einen Seilsteig (gute Schuhe und Kletterhandschuhe sind von Vorteil aber kein Muss). Die Benutzung des Steiges erfolgt auf eigene Gefahr und ist nur für Geübte zu empfehlen. Der Cache kann ohne lebensgefährliche Kraxelei gefunden werden, ein sicherer Stand beim Loggen ist aber wichtig! Da der Empfang in der Schlucht nicht berauschend ist, habe ich ein Spoilerfoto beigefügt. Viel Spass beim Klettern und Cachen! Bitte wieder sorgfältig verstecken! Inhalt zum Start: Logbuch, Bleistift, Spitzer, einige Granat-Steine ------------------------------------- For this cache you need to have a confident standing and walking ability. It is situated near the concrete-dam of the Kaning-Stream within the Garnet-Gorge of Radenthein. Beware, after longer rainfall the way will be even more slippery and challenging! For kids I recommend a minimal age of 11-12 since the rope is not always available. The entrance goes via the open area of the Granatium Radenthein. There is no entrance fee but the gorge is only accessible during the opening hours (May-October, 10am-6pm or at special arrangement)mostly via the Shop of the Granatium. The use of the appr. 900m long and partly fixed rope-route is at your own risk and only recommendable for trained people (good shoes and gloves are of advantage but not a must). The cache can be found without daring feats but a good standing during logging is essential. The GPS reception is not the best, for this a spoiler-photo was attached. Happy climbing and caching!
