This cache is a complimentary cache for the Ghost Deer Mtn cache. When we finally found the location for the Ghost Deer Mtn cache, the four of us, CC Rider, mOOse Trax, Sniper, and I all searched for an hour for the cache but apparently some “ghost” had run off with it. Because this was such a cool place we all decided at that time to place another cache, a complimentary cache, so that this site would be a two for one find. You can easily drive a car within 1/8 of a mile to the cache site. Once ascending the cache site you are greeted by one giant flat rock that doubles as a side walk to view the numerous peaks of the Huron Mountains. I can only imagine the photo opportunities catching the Fall colors from here. This is one spot that should be in every travel guide for the State of Michigan, yet no one knows it exists… except for a select few. Don’t miss your chance to be one of those few.
