Geocache Description:

Small cache placed hear a shrine of raccoon dog.

There are several fairy tales of raccoon dog in Ehime area.

Here is a shrine of raccoon dog (Osode-danuki). Impressive location and view close to fosse of Matsuyama Castle.

Small container was placed. Please return the container in the same way.

松山城のお堀の外側に不思議な鳥居がならんでいます。稲荷神社でしょうか？いえいえ、ここはキツネをまつった稲荷神社ではなくタヌキをまつったお八股さんなのです。
お堀へ下るようにならぶ鳥居とお堀の風景が印象的です。コンテナはタッパーです。
