The cache is a medium sized black bison tube. Please bring your own

Many years ago, this old canal used to be the boundary between the
town of Nelspruit to the south, and the "black location" to the
north of the canal (where Managanese Metal and the industrial area
now are).
There were very few bridges over the canal, so it formed an almost
impenetrable barrier between white and black. In those days, it was
almost unheard of for whites to cross into the black location, and
blacks were only allowed into town to work during daylight hours.
Nelspruit used to be "white by night", and blacks found in the
white areas after dark would be arrested and imprisoned.
If my memory serves me correctly, in about the middle 1960's,
Nelspruit needed space to expand, and was sandwiched between citrus
farms - Hall & Sons to the west, and Crocodile Valley to the
east. In keeping with the then policy of the Nationalist government
to move black residential areas away from "white" towns, and to
provide much needed expansion opportunity, the black town of
Kanyamazane was created 15kms east, and all black residents of this
"location" were forcibly moved and resettled there. North of the
canal was bulldozed, and made available for industrial
development.
The name of the cache might have some significance to the suffering
of the folks who were treated so badly then, or it might give you a
clue about how the cache is hidden, or it may be totally
meaningless - up to you what you make of it.....
Please be stealthy and re-hide the cache well to give it a good
chance of surviving. Enjoy!!
