Crew Cuts and Flat Tops Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Marko Ramius: I was reviewing caches in the area that appear to need maintenance or have been temporarily disabled for an extended period of time. I see that this one hasn't had a status update from the owner in the past few months. Obviously, we give extra time when a cache must be disabled for reasons beyond the owner's control, but it does help to have periodic updates.

Please post a note to the cache page to let us all know the status: Any plans to replace (now or in the future)? A report that the area is not yet ready for a cache placement? A simple note on the cache page just to let us know that you haven't forgotten about the cache?

Please respond on this cache page within the next 30 days. If we do not hear from you, we may conclude that the cache has been abandoned and the cache may be archived. Please be aware that caches that are archived due to a lack of communication or maintenance may not be unarchived.
Please note that we now place greater emphasis on "refreshing the gameboard" which means that our SoCal volunteer Reviewers will be more aggressively freeing up space for new caches to replace old ones that are not being properly maintained. In this vein, a response on the cache page from the cache owner is required to avoid archival.

Thank you for your understanding.

Geocache Description:

Very small cache needing you to bring a pencil.
Congratulations to Team Ulogoit on the FTF.

A crew cut is a type of haircut in which the hair on
the top of the head is cut relatively short, graduated
in length from the longest hair at the front hairline to the
shortest at the back of the crown. The hair on the sides
and back of the head is usually tapered short, semi-short
or medium. A very short crew cut is sometimes referred to
as a butch cut or buzz cut.

The crew cut was adopted by the United States armed forces
during World War II, and became a civilian fashion for men
throughout the 1950s.

A flattop is a type of very short hairstyle similar to the crew
cut, with the exception that the hair on the top of the head is
deliberately styled to stand up (typically no more than an inch)
and is cut to be flat, resulting in a haircut that is square in shape.
It is most often worn by men and boys, particularly those in the
military and law enforcement in the United States.

The haircut is usually done with electric clippers to cut the side and
back hair to or near the scalp, and then more intricate cutting is done

on the top hair to achieve a level plane. When cutting a new flattop, the
top hair is usually cut to about an inch long, then blow-dried to stand
up straight, and then finally cut with clippers and scissors to achieve
the final look. Wax can be used to stiffen the front of the flattop.
