This Magnificent waterway was once the main avenue of transportation and communication in western North America. The Hudson's Bay Company needed the Columbia River to reach it's inland fur trading posts. In turn the trappers used the river to return with their fur bounty to Fort Vancouver.
No need to step off the sidewalk. Bring a pen and please re-hide exactly as found. This is a good cache for trading coins, there is a Lewis & Clark Nickel and some Australian and Canadian coinage for starters. High muggle area, cacher beware!
