This cache is located on Dunn's Bridge which for many years was rumored to be built with parts of the steel salvaged from one of the 19th century's most exciting engineering projects: a huge mechanical wheel designed and built by Mr. George Ferris for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago.
The bridge fell into disrepair for many years but was restored a few years ago. The renovated bridge won a state award for the wonderful engineering work that was done or should I say Dunn on the bridge restoring it to the beauty that it once was.
Who knows if we will ever know the anwer to this decades-old question but the bridge is a thing of beauty no matter where it got its start.
Please bring a pencil. Take a few minutes to enjoy the area and watch the water flow under the bridge. Very peaceful.
UPDATE AS OF 9-8-2012: Cache is a magnetic kdy hide that is hidden on some part of the brigde in the northwest corner. It is not under the bridge but blends in very well. Happy hunting! I know that coordinates are not perfect but they, along with this update and the clue, should have you holding the cache in no time.
