An easy cache that you can either "cache and dash" or you can park at the beautiful church in Compton Pauncefort and walk to the cache site.
I have rated the terrain as if you were parking at the church and walking to the site, it would be a 1.5 if you do this as a cache and dash and park at the cache site.
This was originally going to be part of a multi and would have started at the church. Instead I am leaving it as a cache and dash but will provide additional instructions for anyone that would like a short walk from the church.
The coordinates given are the actual cache location, there is a space to pull a car in almost next to the cache. This is just off a road so if you take children please supervise them carefully at the cache site.
The cache is a small flip top waterproof box the size of a glasses case. It contains a log book a few small swaps and a little something for the FTF.
As an alternative you could park near the church (N 51 01.992 W002 30.518), and walk down the footpath towards N51 01.962 W002 30.725 and then along the edge of the field to N51 01.809 W002 30.716, then either walk along the road, or keep to the field and head for the cache site.
If you choose to walk the footpath is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs and involves stepping across a small water path (not a river or stream, more of a drainage route, easily managed by my 8 year old).
