Sitting with Grief Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

DinaWorks: Out of fear that Wheels00 would put another tree climb cache in the cemetery if I let this spot go, I held on to this one in the hopes of replacing but the reality is ... the bench is gone and this cache makes no sense without the bench. I contemplated new concepts like "The Gates of Grief" or "The Entrance to Grief" but, frankly, those seemed a little disrespectful. Also, this entrance is a popular place for local LEOs to clock speeders on Milwaukee Ave so access is often a challenge. This was one of the first ideas I had for placing a cache and I always liked the name and cache page description but its time has come and gone. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

This is a simple cache in a poignant place. The cache title is what I have called this spot since before I became a geocacher.

This cache is hidden at a place I drive by often, almost daily, in fact. Whenever I see someone sitting here, I try to imagine the purpose of their journey. Maybe it was to plant some flowers, or just to say hello. Maybe it was to visit for the first time in many years or maybe they come here often. Maybe they just live nearby and this spot is on their way to work.

Please note the exact spot where it is hidden before retrieving and return it exactly the same way.

Congratulations to my pals, Tzinny and n9tog for their FTF!
