This is a simple little challenge that most people should be able to complete in one weekend. I was able to do so over Labor Day when I was up here visiting. For this challenge you will need to find 31 different caches. One within 1/2 a mile of 31 different GEMS
So what is a North Shore Gem? The answer can be found in a book called: 61 Gems on Highway 61 by Kathryn and William Mayo. I will provide a list so you don't need to purchase the book, but you might find it helpful. This will bring you to the best that the North Shore has to offer. I am only requiring you to find half of the gems to make it a little bit easier for the traveler to the region.
Now for some rules:
1) Previous finds DO count
2) You can only use one cache per Gem
3) If your cache is the only one within 1/2 a mile of a gem you may use it.
4) Create a list with the GC of the cache and the Gem it is for.
5) Have fun.
Once you have completed the challenge demonstrate your list in anyway you see fit and submit it with your log. Take you time and bring your camera. There is a lot that this stretch of highway has to offer.
