La Aparecida de Rocafort
Rocafort es un apacible pueblo de la huerta a sólo 5 km de la ciudad de Valencia al que incluso puede llegarse en metro.
Las tardes de verano son siempre frescas por la brisa de levante que llega del mar y en invierno es una delicia pasear por sus calles entre jardines.
Pero en Rocafort se produjo hace ya muchos años la desaparición de una desgraciada mujer que vivía en el barrio de la ciudad-jardín y de la que nunca se ha vuelto a tener noticias. El paso del tiempo no ha llegado a aclarar si la mujer se fue voluntariamente o si alguien la hizo desaparecer. La historia de esta región es rica en acontecimientos misteriosos. En el territorio circundante, la Huerta de Valencia, abundan brujos y curanderos desde tiempos antiguos y aún ejercen sus actividades en la actualidad.
Desde entonces, la casa donde la desaparecida vivió, que está muy próxima al escondite del geocache, sigue arrastrando la leyenda de lugar maldito, porque todas las mujeres que han habitado la casa han tenido destinos trágicos.
No puede tratarse de una casualidad que tantas mujeres distintas a lo largo del tiempo hayan arrastrado existencias desgraciadas, con matrimonios infelices, graves enfermedades, accidentes fatales, huidas inesperadas, etc., de hecho la última de ellas desapareció una noche dejando tras de sí el objeto que está escondido en el lugar.
Pero además, aún hoy, en algunas noches de invierno, se puede escuchar lamentos o gemidos, no se sabe si de animal, de persona o del espíritu de la aparecida que, todavía errante, se niega a abandonar este lugar.
Por esta razón no parece aconsejable llevarse el objeto de la aparecida o en todo caso recomendamos dejar en su lugar otro objeto mágico capaz de evitar que el espíritu pueda marchar tras el intruso.

The Appeared Lady of Rocafort
Rocafort is a quiet peaceful village of the Valencian orchard area, only 5 km far from the city and easily reachable by subway.
Afternoon Summer hours are always cool because of the eastern breeze sent by the neighbouring sea and, in the Winter, it is a delight walking around by the streets and fragrant gardens.
But, long years ago, an unfortunate woman, who used to live in the garden-residential quarter of Rocafort, disappeared and no one got ever news about her. The course of the time never revealed if she left by her own wish or if someone forced her to escape. The history of this region is known to be rich in mysterious events. Witches and sorcerers have settled along millenniums in the neighbouring territory, the large Valencia orchard area, where they still carry out their activities nowadays.
From that time, the Appeared Lady’s house, where she used to live and very close to the geocache’s location, is still marked by the legend of being a damned place, because every woman living there suffered of a tragic fade.
It cannot be just a coincidence the fact that so many different women along time have suffered from unhappy lives, wretch marriages, serious illness, tragic accidents, unexpected escapes, etc., in fact, the last one disappeared one night, leaving back the object hidden in this place.
But besides this, even nowadays, some Winter nights, you can hear wails or groans, no idea if coming from animal, human or the “Appeared Lady” ghost, who still wandering around, rejects leaving this place.
For this reason, it seems not advisable to take away the object belonging to the “Appeared Lady”, or in any case, it is recommended to substitute it by other magic item, able to avoid the ghost pursuing the trespasser.
