Pink Hill Park is a
large park with 40 acres of city owned park land Pink Hill Park
offers several special amenities including:
A competition BMX race course
An ADA accessible playground
5 shelters
Two soccer fields
Lighted football practice fields
Sand volleyball courts
Two tennis courts
Three lighted baseball fields
Horseshoe pits
This park is the home of temporary art displays. Each year artist
from all over the world are invited to submit works of art that
will be displayed for 1 year. At the end of the display, the hope
is private and public donors will buy the art and donate it back to
the city of Blue Springs for public art displays.
This park will also be the temporary
home for “The Wall that Heals”. which is the traveling
exhibition of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall located in
Washington, DC is coming to Blue Springs from September 30 to
October 3, 2010.
