It's the 23rd century and a cloaked Klingon Bird-of-Prey has secretly followed the Enterprise into an orbit around planet Earth. As the Klingon ship uncloaks, it is detected by Mr. Spock with the Enterprise's sensors. The Captain places the ship on red alert...
Spock: Captain, I’m reading faint transmissions from a scout ship, apparently to the Bird-Of-Prey.
Uhura: The language does sound like Klingon Captain but the transmission is barely audible.
Kirk: Uhura, analyze and translate if possible.
Uhura: Yes Captain...
It’s definitely Klingon! I can make out most of it… “Transceiver planted successfully… prescribed coordinates… awaiting activation“ -then there are some numbers.

Spock: Most interesting.
Kirk: Analysis Mr. Spock?
Spock: I would speculate that the Klingons have in fact succeeded in planting a stealth listening device in a close enough proximity to earth communications systems to infiltrate and coordinate an invasion.
Kirk: Is there anyway we can possibly intercept them?
Spock: Not until Mr. Scott has made the necessary repairs to the warp drive will we-
Kirk: Scotty! I need those engines now man! How long until we have warp capability?
Scotty: Ach! Cap’n it’s a mess down ‘ere and I don’ have the men ta do it right either. It’s gon’ a be a wee bit longer!
Kirk: Spock, what can we do? We can’t just sit here and let the Klingons march right into the Federation Building and take over the earth…
Spock: May I make a suggestion Captain? Broadcast the recorded transmission of the coordinates toward earth; surely someone will pick up the signal, translate them properly and intercept the device.
Kirk: What are the chances of that hap-
Spock: I’ve calculated it at 6,487,243.6 to 1.
Kirk: Point, six, Mr. Spock? Well, thank you but what would we even tell them to look for?
Spock: Logically the transceiver would look quite alien however, the Klingons are legendary for their deception… the device could look like almost anything Captain.
Captain: Uhura, full power broadcast, narrow band, directed at earth. Send immediately, all frequencies. We’ve got to stop this thing!
Uhura: Yes Sir, sending now.
