Geocache Description:

E-lo Wa-ya began the placement of caches that commuters could pick up on their way to or from work. He offered up that anyone could add to the series as they wished so I have :). A kind of park and search then grab at the Lake Forest Train Stop on the Union Pacific North Line. No need to go near the tracks for this one. This is near the bike trail that runs north to Wisconsin. Bring a pen. Note last 30 feet might be scratchy

This is the third stop on a bike ride or car hop from Fort Sheridan. Plenty of parking or enjoy the bike ride.

The Robert McClory Bike Path (25 miles) connects to the Green Bay Bike Trail on it's southern end and the Kenosha Trail (Wisconsin) on it's northern end. The trail also connects to the North Shore Bike Path which runs parallel to route 176 and is a great east/west connection to the Des Plaines River Trail and a number of other great bike trails.

The Robert McClory bike trail has some very nice areas and some not so nice areas. I feel that it is very important to mention this because it goes through some not so great parts of North Chicago and Waukegan. The southern end, from the Great Lakes Naval Base south to the Green Bay bike trail is great and the northern end from just north of Waukegan on north to the Kenosha Trail in Wisconsin is also pretty nice. But the sections that go through North Chicago and some of Waukegan are not very scenic (at best) and possibly even dangerous at times.
