It was the longest Torch Relay in the history of the Olympics,
spanning more than 45,000 kilometres, for more than 100 days,
through more than 1000 communities, spawning more than 200
celebrations along the route.

It passed within 1 kilometre of more than 90% of all Canadian
residents in all 10 provinces and 3 territories and more than
12,000 Canadian heroes, both big and small, both known and unknown,
were blessed with the once-in-a-lifetime honour of carrying the
flame on this remarkable and historic journey.
We discovered a lot about ourselves as Canadians, about our
magical country, about it's proud citizens, and we solidified our
unity, our identity, and our resolve before all of the world.

It is said that sport is a vehicle for understanding and an
incredibly-unifying force. I can't think of another time in my life
when I've felt so proud to be Canadian. I will never forget the
moments I shared with family and friends during the 2010 games.

To keep the spirit of the flame burning, I've chosen to place
this cache at the location where it passed our house as we stood
watching the torch blazing by in the hands of our local heroes in
the early, dark hours of the morning. May it bring back many
wonderful memories for you as well.

The location is one of extreme muggle
traffic deep in the heart of Muggleopolis especially during peak
hours of the day (foot, automobile, and transit traffic are
ridiculously high at rush hours) so please be covert and cautious.
The cache will be far easier to spot than to
retrieve.
(Please bring your own writing utensil and rehide the cache as you
found it.)
** Congratulations to
The Wet Coast Explorers for being FTF this cache ** :)
