Geocache Description:

The Greenstead and Salary Brook cycle route map can be downloaded here.

Total distance is a little over 7km (14km return)

There are opportunities to do some other caches along the river although check which bank they are on first!

This is a series of 11 caches along the National cycle route 51 and the Salary Brook cycle route around east Colchester. Some of the route involves cycling on the road (I tried to keep this to a minimum) and unfortunately creating a circuit would have meant too much road cycling, so it is a "there and back" trail. Parking at the Beehive pub car park is possible but I would go in and check it's OK if you choose to do so. Unfortunately there are no dedicated car parks along the route. The caches are a mixture of sizes so bring a pen and a few swaps if you wish.
