Geocache Description:

10/10/10 10:10:10 @ Junction 10!

All around the world, there will be a Multi-Event cache just because of all the 10s! You are cordially invited to join us for a flash mob event just off Junction 10 of the M25 on 10/10/10 at 10:10:10 am where you will receive details of 10 new caches. Then join us later nearby at the Black Swan in Ockham for caching chat, food, drink and the chance of winning a prize if you have found all 10 of them.

To qualify as one of the "recognised" multi-events, it seems I'd have needed to have known about this months ago (9/9/9 and earlier passed me by on the Geocaching events calendar) and got a geocoin minted. So this is not "recognised" but I think we can more than make up for that by making it fun and now I know I'm making a promise I can keep.... Top prize on the day will be a limited edition UK 10/10/10 geocoin.

How to get there: Take Guildford-bound A3 slip-road from M25 Junction 10 roundabout, turn left into Old Lane before the slip road joins the A3, then turn left into the car park. The Black Swan can be found further along Old Lane.

Ockham Bites cafe and public toilets can be found at Boldermere Car Park. Ockham Bites will be open from about 8am on the day.

The Black Swan is a popular pub, especially on Sundays. If the weather is good (I have ordered an Indian Summer) there is plenty of outdoor seating available for ad-hoc food and drink. If the weather is poor, the indoor bar area has room for about 40 at a pinch. If you would like to be assured of an indoor table at which to eat, please make your own booking ASAP. Sunday lunch is served from noon to 6pm.

10 Before 10 If you're an early riser, there is a series of 10 caches at Ockham Common to find before 10am.
