Not the metropolis of Douglas' first geocache, but currently the only one!
This cache is located at "Douglas Crossing," one of the stops on the Brandon to Winnipeg airport shuttle route.
Many a newly -posted soldier has been deposited here with no previous warning that the shuttle doesn't actually go all the way to CFB Shilo, or that a taxi will take at least 1/2 hour to get to Douglas. Well, now folks waiting for a ride can do something to amuse themselves. They can find this geocache!
There is ample parking available, and the cache itself is easily accessed on foot. It's almost, but not quite a drive-up.
You're looking for a small black Lock&Lock container. The cache has room for small trade items, and contains a FTF prize!
