The state park has decided to discontinue geocaching in the park. I want to thank them for their support over these many years. This site might be considered "historical" (no, it is not the log cabin) so I did not want to put a box here. For that, see this cache in the same park.
DO NOT head out cross country in this park. There are many elevation changes that can be dangerous to you, and sensitive areas that should be protected. What you are looking for is relatively close to a trail. Ease of trail depends on which way you approach (either a 2 or a 3). If you have small children with you or if you can't manage steep trails, look at the hint below for the easier (but maybe just a bit longer) way to approach. That said, going on the more difficult part of the trail is quite beautiful and well worth it. Once you find it, can you guess what it is for? To find out, ask one of the rangers.
