Independence has some beautiful parks that make for a great family outing. Most all have concrete walking paths. This is the 2nd of 6 caches that we have placed in parks within Independence. Thanks to the Independence Parks and Rec dept. for allowing us to place these caches. If you choose the right way in, only mild bushwacking will be required. Choose incorectly and enjoy the bushwacking. Since the move of the cache, it is no longer handicap accessable. This one is placed in Choplin Hood Park.
Cache is round plastic container that has been camo'ed, slightly smaller than a coffee can. We have left an unactivated geocoin with a couple other goodies as a FTF prize. Cache also contains log book, and the normal swag. Please remember to leave something if you take something and replace cache as you found it. Bring your own Pen. Happy Hunting!
