Take the healthy heart trail from parking coordinates and a short hike along the trail to cache. This trail will take you to the Enchanta trail and bridge and the heart of the mill area. Cache is a lock n lock container.
Moore State Park is a hidden gem found in Paxton, MA. Although it is a state park, one should treat it as a nature sanctuary. Listed on the historic registry for its archeological history of the mill and beautiful stonework, you will see why its an awe inspiring place and why we received special permission from the DCR and the groundskeeper to place our caches in this park. Please take care not to disturb any of its natural habitats, and stay on marked trails. All caches are right off of the trail, no bushwacking necessary. We hope you enjoy this gem as much as we do. Bring a picnic lunch and have a seat on one of the Adirondack chairs on the bridge, as you take in the pond and the wonderful sounds as you stroll through the trails.
